Native to Cliffside Park, New Jersey, Mariam founded Gold Coast Bookkeeping Services with a passion for helping business owners gain greater clarity and confidence with their finances. With four years of bookkeeping experience, an MBA with a concentration in Accounting, and a diverse professional background, she brings a personalized, modern, attentive approach to every client relationship. She has completed the educational requirements to sit for her CPA exam and is currently preparing for it.

Over time, Mariam noticed some independently owned businesses throughout her community that had opened up and closed down far too soon. She wondered why and how, and saw an opportunity to combine everything that she had learned in her life, quantified, to help.

Her mission is to provide accurate financial information, dependable support, and strong client relationships that give business owners greater confidence in their numbers and more freedom to focus on what they do best.

Financial Controller

Connie brings more than three decades of bookkeeping, accounting, and financial leadership experience to Gold Coast Bookkeeping. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Baruch College in 1984 and built a distinguished career, advancing into financial controller roles through her commitment to excellence, expertise, discipline, and relentless dedication.

Connie is Gold Coast Bookkeeping's Financial Controller. She reviews every clients’ financial statements and records before they are finalized, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

Her extensive experience and meticulous attention to detail provide clients with the necessary confidence that their finances are managed with the highest standards of care and professionalism.

Together, Connie and Mariam are committed to saving you valuable time, identifying and correcting overlooked mistakes, and providing accurate financial records that give you greater control over your business and the confidence to focus on its growth.
